Nice job Jan,
I want the Rangers to make the playoffs and win the Stanley Cup and at the same time win the lottery for the 1st overall pick...
Is that too much to ask? |

this is 100% true
it would be like 1971 when Montreal won the Cup and had first overall pick because they heisted it in 1969 from Oakland and took Guy Lafleur |

For them to have that pick in their back pocket makes them willing to trade their pick for whatever help they need...
My comment was tongue in cheek but to see that they actually have a legit shot at this (if not the cup at least a solid playoff run) is unreal |

How can anyone wish delaying the rebuild
1. make P O's
2. Dont trade enuf vets & parts fast enuf
3.MUST GET GRADE A PARTS to NYR hockey team
4. anyone can be gone for grade A talent if available or make available (offer Sheets)
5. Sign grade A talent F A's
. only ques i have is who do u keep as your #2 center ...Hayes or Zbad
not keeping both with Howden, Chytl & Anderson waiting as well as Boo Nieves as 4th line center
Core of team is those left after we purge roster again to make room for rebuild
guys coming from system ,trades or FA's....
Dont wait , get moving on overhaul .. P O"s ..#pipedream |

Damn. How about former #NYR Brandon Pirri?
Scored his 6th goal last night in 7 games since recall for Vegas |

The cure for a failing career is a stint with the Rangers. |

didn't work for Etem |
|
|
|
Skjei-McQuaid
Staal-Pionk
DeAngelo-Shattenkirk
Jan: Why consistently list it in this order when its not in this order in terms of how they list it on MSG or by TOI? |

Because ADA-Kirk seemed to be tagged by most writers as the third pair. In addition, PPTOI and SHTOI shouldn’t factor in to the pairings order. |

Did anyone else catch Quinns comments in Brooks piece the other day? Talking about how they will "have to see whos left on the roster" when talking about bringing Lias back up. The comments certainly made it seem like the purge will happen |

I meant Staal and Pionk are clearly the first paring but thanks for the answer |

thats the best thing yuo've said .........cant wait to move sum & shake up league
i would rather see the 2 D men from last yr Ogara ? fast guy ? Gilmore
or Lingren & Libor from T B anyone instead of vets
Clausen McQuad Staal Shatty Not factors anymore Staal to Car. or Minn
brothers unite minn with no Dumba Car looking to trade A top right to Toronto for Nylander pkg. ?
Alot bubbling on NHL stove , gotta be Pro Active than RE active ... L G R
A DA on fence ,young enuf just dont like his game although better with Quinn than before ,gotta get the youth in lineup and trade off the vets asap |

Its inevitable that it's going to happen, but will have to wait for week(s) leading up to deadline. Dundee can't wait that long, but Gorton will wait for that time so the haul will be that much higher. Just think about what was had for Nash!
Zuuc, Nam, and ??? will bring back some good picks prospects |

I wonder if it starts slow with a trade here and there or he waits the 2 months.. still plenty of teams in the playoff hunt right now that wont be trade partners if they wait till the deadline |

More teams in fray now than waiting till Feb . more buyers now than sellers
later on the ratio will switch to more sellers less buyers as position becomes clear |

A couple of strategic UFA signings over the next two years, our current pipeline, a good selection this year and resigning Hayes and Kreider puts us right back in it in my opinion. We should be competing for the cup when the 20-21 season rolls around.
If we can get rid of two of the three (Shatty, Skjei and Staal) it will will accelerate the process. |
